• 1. 候选人简介

  候选人简介 offers admission c和idates a convenient way to provide biographical data to over 50 schools with a single form. You may access the 候选人简介 online by visiting the 进入预科学校, an online application system. If you are applying for entry in the 2025-26 school year, the 候选人简介 will not be available until later this summer.

  People who would like to get a sense of Groton before committing to an interview may prefer the option of a student-led group tour. The group tour is capped at twelve families, 和 it is followed by a question 和 answer session with an admission counselor.  To register for a group tour, please click 在这里.

  Most of our interviews take place on campus 和 are preceded by a student-led tour.  Prospective students who would like to apply for entry in the 2025-26 school year can schedule an interview on campus as soon as this summer by first completing an 调查形式 和 then calling the admission office (978-448-7510) to make an appointment.  On campus interviews for the fall 和 winter can be scheduled online starting in late August.

  You can help us get to know you by submitting a video introduction of yourself.  We prefer video introductions that are simple statements of your interests 和 aspirations rather than a presentation that is extensively rehearsed or edited.  Its length should not exceed five minutes.  It is perfectly acceptable to send us a "selfie-style" video recorded on a phone! A video introduction can serve as an alternative to an interview.

  Without 测试结果, great applicants may be overlooked.  When admission counselors are unfamiliar with an applicant's school, 测试结果 help to contextualize an application.  Testing helps us fulfill one of our primary objectives: enrolling a diverse 和 talented student body.   Some see st和ardized testing as a barrier preventing access to a great education.  We see testing as a means to overcome barriers such as incomplete 建议 和 grade inflation.  St和ardized testing helps applicants from many different backgrounds become students at 易胜博app安卓下载.
  
  

  多年来, the majority of admitted applicants have submitted test scores that are quite strong, but this is certainly not true for everyone.  Test scores are evaluated with consideration of each applicant's educational background.  They are only one of many factors considered in an application to Groton.
  
  

  The Enrollment Management Association provides schools with fee waivers for the SSAT.  Groton issues fee waivers to applicants who complete a 候选人简介, 和 request a fee waiver via email (addressed to admission@safarinautique.com).  Household income for the previous year should be stated in the request.  If the income meets the criteria described by the Enrollment Management Association (ttp: / / www.ssat.org/about/fee-waiver-program), a fee waiver will be offered.  The number of waivers provided to each school is limited.  

  
  The SSAT is the exam we prefer, but you may take the ISEE. For more information on testing dates 和 sites, visit www.ssat.org 和 www.erblearn.org/families/isee-by-erb/. Be sure to list Groton's code when you register for the SSAT (3598) or for the ISEE (220930). We can only accept scores directly from the testing services. The November or December test dates are preferable; the January date is acceptable. Students applying for 2nd Form (8th grade) may take the middle or upper level SSAT. Students applying for Fifth Form (11th grade) may submit 测试结果 from the PSAT, SAT, or ACT.

  If English is not your native language, 和 you have not been studying in a school w在这里 English is the primary language of instruction for the past two years, you should also take an English language proficiency test. 我们接受 Duolingo测试托福、新托福和雅思. International students admitted to Groton tend to score above: 100 on the TOEFL iBT, 7.5 on the IELTS, 和 125 on the Duolingo English Test.

• 4. 建议

  Groton applicants use the 进入预科学校 online application for recommendation forms. 要访问 网关 recommendation system you must submit the 候选人简介. Completing 建议 online through the 网关 system is a simple 和 secure process for you 和 your teachers. Your first step is to ask people if they will recommend you. If they agree, ask them for their email addresses. You will then enter those addresses in the recommendation section of the 网关 application so your recommenders will receive the forms via email. We advise recommenders to print copies of their 建议 before submission.
  
  Recommendation forms will be available in October.

• 5. 完成申请

  To complete an application, you must submit all forms to the 入学 Office by January 15, 2025. 易胜博app安卓下载使用 进入预科学校, an online application system. With the exception of applications submitted through community-based organizations, applications to Groton must be submitted electronically through the 网关 application system.
